Living Rooms at the Border is a 13,469 square-foot mixed-use project in the heart of San Ysidro, in the City of San Diego. Designed by Teddy Cruz, UCSD Professor and Director of Urban Research, over 17 years, the unique labor of love project includes 10 units of affordable housing and the restoration of the historic Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, built in 1927, into a theatre and community space.
